The Dublin Gospel Choir is an immensely committed group of singers and musicians who have come together to express their faith, joy, and belief in life through Gospel Music. They believe Gospel Music cuts across all boundaries to unite the Human Spirit wherever people are gathered together. Initially founded in 1996, they have truly become Ireland's premier expression of Gospel Music.
Some recent highlights for the choir include: • headlining Ireland's first ever Gospel Music Festival • participating in the closing ceremony of the Special Olympics • recording and releasing their debut CD: "Nights of Soul" and follow-up live album • embarking on a performance and educational tour of Rome and Assisi • performing at the Electric Picnic Festival in Stradbally • recording and performing with The Hothouse Flowers, Paddy Casey, James Brown and John Legend • their National 2005 Tour was a huge success which culminated in sold-out shows in December Services
