About Wim and PhotographyBorn in Belgium Wim Vanhengel started taking pictures when he was 12 years old and hasn’t stopped since.
Seeing photography as the perfect medium for telling stories and expressing feelings, he spent hours in the dark room fascinated as he watched the image forming on paper.

Working initially in Belgium and Holland he covered weddings, events, portraits and art projects with several exhibitions in these countries.
Having travelled the world he has now found a new home in Ireland. A beautiful country where old meets new in a magical way.
