Nutritional Therapy Clinic:
Knowledge is the most important key to health. Finding and applying the right type of knowledge can bring about true transformation.
Most people start seeking information on nutritional medicine and diet therapy as a last resort when they realize the limitations of prescription medicines in treating long-term health conditions. If you are one of these people, you have opened the door to vital knowledge. Food and nutrition are the real keys not only to preventing ill-health but also to reversing it.

Recognition that medications are failing to treat disease and are, in fact, damaging our immune systems has led us back to the basics. We are what we eat (and breathe and touch and think,....). What you've eaten up until now has contributed a great deal to your current state of health. And what you eat from now on can change your life. The most dramatic shifts in health come from careful changes in diet.
Conditions which have been unsuccessfully treated by conventional medicine, and which have, in fact, worsened from that treatment, are the best candidates for nutritional therapy. For many, many health conditions—including adult onset diabetes, eczema, chronic yeast infections, high blood pressure.
Below are just some of the areas that we cover:
• Weight Loss specialist
• Allergies
• Anxiety, Stress and depression
• Asthma
• Bowel problems (IBS, constipation, bloating)
• Candida Albicans
• Digestive problems
• High blood pressure
• High Cholesterol
• Insomnia
• Menstrual and menopause problems
• PCOS: polycystic ovary syndrome
• Skin problems
Nutritional therapy is based on the cell building and healing properties of good food, but it uses concentrated forms of plants and minerals for quicker, more intense healing. Nutritional Therapy begins with a careful analysis of your diet, health history and other lifestyle elements which affect health—stress, age, lack of exercise, overindulgences, exposure to chemicals, medicines, and other toxins. An effective therapy plan shows you how to return to a healthy diet, offers guidance, feedback and support. Therapy involves using food and at times nutrient supplements to restore nutritional status, to rebuild your immune system, to regenerate cells.....to return you to health. Nutritional Therapy can add years and vigor to your life.
In Ireland lack of food is not a problem for most. Diets built on heavily processed, fatty, salty, sugary, nutrient poor foods are a problem. The rashes and viruses and inflammation and organ disorders and high cholesterol levels which are caused by poor diets are then treated with chemical medications which further burden the liver and lymph system.
Remember prevention is the key to future health, why wait until your ill to try and do something about it!
Nutritional Therapy is for anyone who wants to lead a healthy energetic happy life.
In the consultation:
Your Nutritional Therapist will seek to identify what elements of your diet, lifestyle or other factors may be contributing to your symptoms and ill-health. The initial consultation may take 1 – 1 ½ hours, during which time a thorough analysis of your current diet and lifestyle is performed. If necessary the Nutritional Therapist may then recommend further laboratory tests to determine levels of nutrients, hormones or possible food allergies or intolerances.
Treatment involves an individualised eating plan and lifestyle programme, using foods and specific nutrients as appropriate to help you achieve your optimal health, energy levels and feeling of wellbeing.
